I am so inspired by the written word, specifically quotes, and more specifically, if the quotes come from really strong women figures. Jenny Holzer is an American artist whose main focus is the use of written words in relation to public spaces. Although she has produced numerous quotes herself, she also chooses to reproduce art from the quotes of others. Her work focuses on war, famine, neglect, feminism, sexuality and death (all of my favorite topics)!
